It's time for a post!
I'm still excited about the savings I made yesterday:
Instead of paying $29.94 I paid $4.94!!!
I was looking online for rash guards with high SPF/UV protection for the boys. I found one for my older son at Land's End when I bought his backpack there. It was just $9.99 (original $24.99) and I bought it as well.
He liked it and it fits perfectly so I decided to get one for him and his brother next year. Of course, the $9.99 one was gone. But there were still some available for $12.99 (original $26.50) & $14.99 (original $27.50). Still a good deal if one asks me, since good sun protection is priceless.
Also, there was the offer fro free shipping from Lan's End.
I always check for deals first just using google.com and then I check the Upromise.com website if they are partners. Usually I find wat I'm looking for there, so I login to my account (get one, it's free and you can save so much money for your childs/children's education!!! and shop via there link. Depending on the partner, there's usually a percentage off which will be added to the upromise account.
In tis case, 3% from Lan's End (landsend.com)
On top of that, I used my Discover credit card's Rewards, which translates into:
$25 value Electronic Certificate for $20 Cash Rewards.
So again, instead of paying $29.94 I paid only $4.94. (If considering the original prices for the rash guards, the savings are even better...)
And of course, on the $4.94 I'll receive 3% into the Upromise account and 1% Cash back rewards for using one of my Cash back Rewards cards.

Natural All Purpose Cleaner Recipe
...it's time to sweep the floor! Not my favorite activity, but since I use a cleaner I feel good about, it's much more satisfying (if one can say so...)
Thought I share the 'recipe' (I adpated from several I found online and in magazines, like 'REAL SIMPLE'
All Purpose Cleaner
mix about 1 tsp. liquid soap with 1 qt. warm water
add some lemon juice or vinegar (or both) (helps cutting the grease)
That's it! Go mop and don't worry anymore about those chemicals.
Happy cleaning :-)
